Our Starlight Spinning Fiber pairs beautifully fine 20.4-micron Shaniko wool with a generous touch of Stellina for a fiber that is soft, sparkly, and an absolute delight to spin. Each 100-gram braid is hand dyed by Yarn Dragon in Seattle, letting our colors mingle with the shimmer of the Stellina as you spin.

The heart of Starlight is 80% superwash Merino/Rambouillet Shaniko wool—completely traceable American-branded wool that is grown, sheared, scoured, and combed in the USA. At just 20.4 microns, it's wonderfully fine and soft enough for next-to-skin projects.

And then there's the sparkle. A full 20% Italian Stellina runs throughout the top, catching the light and giving your finished yarn a beautiful shimmer. Whether you're spinning for a shawl, a sweater, or something wonderfully extravagant, Starlight lets you create a yarn that's uniquely yours—with just a little extra magic.
