Bactrian Fingering is an extraordinary blend of 50% baby camel and 50% silk. Baby camel gives the yarn incredible softness and warmth, while silk adds strength, drape, and a beautiful luminous sheen.
The natural camel fiber also gives every colorway a rich, warm undertone. Rather than starting with a bright white base, we're dyeing over the camel's natural color—creating complex, sophisticated shades that are uniquely Bactrian.
It's a beautiful choice for shawls, wraps, lightweight sweaters, cowls, hats, mittens, and other projects where you want exceptional softness, warmth, and drape.
