Every day, we help knitters and crocheters choose yarn for meaningful projects, learn new skills, solve crafting challenges, and connect with a welcoming community of makers. Some of our customers are local regulars. Others travel from across the country—or around the world—to visit Yarn Dragon while they're in Seattle.

We're looking for someone who can be the face of Yarn Dragon: someone who is knowledgeable, kind, welcoming, and genuinely excited to help others succeed in their craft.

What We're Looking For

• Knitting and/or crochet experience
• A warm and friendly personality
• Strong communication skills
• Reliability and professionalism
• A desire to learn and grow
• Comfort working independently

What You'll Do

• Help customers select yarn, tools, and patterns
• Answer knitting and crochet questions
• Process sales and assist customers throughout their visit
• Receive and stock inventory
• Maintain a beautiful and organized shop
• Create a welcoming environment for makers of all experience levels
• Represent the Yarn Dragon brand with kindness, knowledge, and enthusiasm

Yarn Dragon is a queer-owned Seattle yarn company specializing in luxury hand-dyed yarns and knitwear. We serve customers both in person and online and have built a community of nearly 360,000 makers across social media.
